How can I tell whether Creator Metering is actually working?

I set up Creator Metering on the backend, and the tech support told me that the tester would determine the final price range after testing the agent. The tech support also mentioned that the standard pricing fields don’t really matter and that I could fill in any number, so I just put $1 per run casually.

However, it eventually showed up as $1 per run on the marketplace page.

Now I’m wondering: is Creator Metering actually working? How can I verify that it is?

I’m a creator as well, and I want to share my experience with you.

Creator Metering is actually very important—it determines how many credits you charge users for using your tool. A portion of those credits is taken by the platform, and the rest goes directly into your creator account.

When you upload your Agent to MuleRun, during the testing phase, only the credits consumed by the underlying AI models on the MuleRun platform are deducted. At this stage, users are not being charged.

Once your Agent passes the platform review, you can run it using a user account. At that point, in your creator dashboard, you’ll be able to see detailed execution records for each user, along with the credits or USD revenue you’ve earned.

So rest assured: Creator Metering is working as intended.

Excellent response! @summer

Regarding Creator Metering, this means creators set their own prices, and the amount paid by users will cover both the creator’s earnings and MuleRun’s platform fee. Throughout the process, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with the MuleRun team to fine-tune the pricing—ensuring it works well for your audience, benefits you, and aligns with MuleRun’s ecosystem. It’s a friendly back-and-forth to make sure your price feels right and fair for everyone. We’re here to help you thrive!

Wishing you a fantastic experience on MuleRun! :rocket:
